Join the Friends of Rittenhouse Square for an evening of live music, DJ Sets, gourmet picnic style dining, and more! We're excited to come back with a new approach to our fundraiser bringing together friends from both of our highly anticipated summer fundraising events. This year we will party big in our best garden chic attire for an unforgettable evening in Rittenhouse Square Park.
Our supporters, like you, have missed our stake-holding fundraising events (Black Tie, Soirée, and Little Friends Event) for over a year. To provide an inclusive event that incorporates our supporters of all corners, this year’s Summer Garden Party will serve as a combination of the best of your long standing favorites.
The 2022 Friends on the Square Garden Summer Party will be a festive outdoor garden dinner party featuring a mix of gourmet dining, drinks, dancing, and entertainment. In true Rittenhouse Square fashion, all are welcome in their best garden chic attire to meet new friends and enjoy the magic of the Rittenhouse Square through an unforgettable evening.
Our annual fundraiser is a reminder that so many friendships are created, strengthened, and amplified in the very park that we work tirelessly to protect. Celebrating in the park allows us to share with the community at large that Rittenhouse Square is a magical place worth protecting. This year, we’ve expanded our marketing efforts to reach a larger audience and to nurture the type of relationships that we know create the strongest of friendships.
Over 2,000 friends will support this year’s event with a goal of $400,000 to support the park's beautification and maintenance efforts. It is our biggest goal EVER, and we are very excited to have you join us on this journey.
Drinks: Complimentary beverages will be provided throughout the event, but you are encouraged to bring your own wine and spirits. This is a BYOB event. Keep in mind to pack your favorite bottle and be sure to remember your opener! Guests will be provided with disposable glassware to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the park. No glass will be permitted. Ice and water will be available at the event.
Meals: All meals are included in the ticket price and you will be asked to choose your selection at the time of registration. Additional food items will also be available for purchase up to two weeks before the event. You may also feel free to bring your own accompaniments to your meal.
Attire: Are you excited to get out of your loungewear and put on your dancing shoes? We are! When planning your outfit, think garden florals, Kentucky derby, and Nantucket winery chic. We cannot wait to see what you all come up with for the evening. Keep in mind, this event will take place outdoors under the stars in our beautiful Square, so we ask that you take the weather and the grounds into account when planning your outfit and footwear.
